We Ship Worldwide!

Please phone or e-mail us to inquire about purchasing any of the instruments, mouthpieces or accessories on our web site. We welcome questions about our items for sale and will be honest about their condition. We don't want you to have to send it back!

We also welcome inquiries about buying or consigning items you have. But please do not ask us to provide you with information about or estimate the value of your instrument unless you are interested in having us sell it for you.

PAYMENT

For payment we accept:

  • VISA and Mastercard by phone from Canadian and US customers only. US customers please note that credit card transactions are charged in Canadian dollars and your financial institution will convert to US funds. We ship only to the address that the credit card company has on file for the card (and we do check!).

  • Paypal from verified users with confirmed addresses in Canada, USA, and the UK. We will accept Paypal from other countries but only if the user is verified by Paypal AND the item is valued under $150.

  • E-mail money transfer from Canadian bank accounts

  • Direct bank transfer for large amounts outside of US and Canada

TAXES AND CUSTOMS CHARGES

Residents of British Columbia will be charged 7% PST and 5% GST. Residents of other Canadian provinces will be charged either 5% GST OR if their province has a HST, HST at their provincial rate. Buyers outside of Canada pay no Canadian taxes. Sorry, we have no control over any duty or taxes your own country charges. Depending on how the item is shipped, there may also be a brokerage fee. Please don't ask us to mark your purchase a gift - we won't lie on customs forms. Please make inquiries with your appropriate authority to determine if you will be charged any taxes or duty. In most cases, there is no duty or taxes for items shipped to the US.

SHIPPING

We ship almost everything through the postal system. It is usually the lowest cost and the least amount of border hassles for items shipped out of Canada. We have never had a package go missing or be damaged when shipped by post. We can use couriers if you wish. When we do ship courier, we will only ship on our account.

For most items being shipped inside of Canada or going to the United States, we use the Expedited Post service which is fully insured and traceable. Delivery within Canada and to most US states is 1-2 weeks. If you need faster shipping, we can use Xpresspost. This service is usually about twice as fast as Expedited Post.

For small items under $150 shipped outside of Canada, we use the post office's Small Packet service. Delivery time is usually about 1-2 weeks to most countries. However, this can be longer due to customs delays in the destination country

For shipping outside of Canada and the USA of items that can't go by Small Packet, we use Xpresspost since it is trackable. We generally do not ship surface as it can't be tracked and it can take quite a long time. We occasionally make exceptions for lower value items. Note that Xpresspost is not available to all countries. When Xpresspost is not available, we do use the couriers.

When packing instruments, we put packing material inside the case to keep the instrument from banging around inside the case during shipping. We then put the instrument case in a box big enough to allow packing material all around the case. This is to minimize any direct bumps on the instrument case. This extra packing adds a little extra to the cost of shipping but we feel it is worth it to ensure the safety of your purchase. We almost always use new boxes that we special order to fit instrument cases. We will only reuse a box if we feel it is still structurally sound.

RETURNS

Items can be returned up to seven days after you receive them. You will be refunded the full purchase price but not the cost of shipping. Please keep all packaging and take care with the item until you have decided to keep it. In order to receive a full refund, items must be returned in the original packaging and in the same condition.

Buyers are required to contact us before returning items. If we are not contacted prior to a return being shipped, we will charge back to you any customs clearance charges, brokerage or other costs we are charged with.

All sales are FINAL seven days after you receive the item.
